You know, outdoor clothing for mountain activities does not come cheap. I’m pretty sure there’s a certain number of people who want to choose something that can also be worn for other occasions.

tateishitateishi

You’re right. Most outdoor clothing is practical and comfortable, so you can easily add them to your line of everyday clothes.

kaikai

Now that I spend more days working from home, I decided to take a short yoga break when I need to step away from my work and refresh. While I do this, I found out that my outdoor clothing comes in handy at times like this..

kaikai

Yeah. Merino base T is made of 100% merino wool, so it’s nice and comfortable.

tateishitateishi

Merino wool has an outstanding moisture absorbency and since it’s also quick to dry, you can keep yourself from getting cold from sweat. That is why merino is the perfect fabric for the next-to-skin base layer for mountain activities.

kaikai

For summer, would you recommend dry jersey clothes rather than wool?

tateishitateishi

It is, for a fact, that many people prefer to wear wool even in summer. When the outside temperature is extremely high, however, wearing synthetic fiber clothes may be a better option because it’s more quick drying. Plus, synthetic fabric might be easier to care for than natural fabric.

tateishitateishi

Those sneaky little pests really love eating merino wool.

kaikai

Yes. There will be holes everywhere if you’re being careless. You would have to pay extra attention, but you’ll notice that it’s worth it after you experience the comfort. Speaking of which, if you’re looking for a loungewear, the vent series is also nice.

tateishitateishi

I agree. It’s easy-fit and the silky, smooth texture keeps you comfortable and relaxed.

kaikai

I like that mesh design and how it makes you feel like you can almost see through it, but you actually can’t …

tateishitateishi

Doesn’t that sound a little… oh, never mind. By the way, I actually like wearing wool socks myself. Usually, I would take off my socks as soon as I get back home, but wool socks are an exception.

kaikai

Most people think of wool as winter-only wear because they have the image of warm wool knit sweaters, but in fact, it can be worn all season. Wearing wool inners for the base layer has become a common understanding among the people who enjoy mountain sports and activities. Even if you wore them for 3 or 4 days, odor wouldn’t be such a problem because Merino wool can also act as a “natural deodorant”.

tateishitateishi

You know what, Isshi, I’ve heard that aging odors are difficult to notice by yourself.
