英国羊毛は冬の寒く厳しい過酷な自然環境の中で育つので、その毛質は弾力性、耐久性がありますが、シェトランドウールは海草を副食に採るなどの飼育環境によって、英国羊毛の中でも柔らかく光沢感があるのが特徴です。
5ゲージでざっくりとした雰囲気に仕上げています。
A wool knit from the Shetland Islands, north of Scotland. British sheep are raised in cold and harsh winter environments, so their wool is elastic and durable. Shetland wool is grown in a breeding environment where seaweed is eaten as a supplementary food, so its softness and luster among British wool characterize it. Knitted with 5 gauges to create a rough atmosphere.
